Network Engineer

Stephen McBride is a Network Consultant with Bridge Point Communications.  Stephen has 10 years’ experience across the Information Technology sector having worked in both large government and private network teams.  His area of expertise is networking technologies with a strong focus on Cisco wireless, Cisco firewalls, remote access technologies and RADIUS including EAP-TLS PKI deployments.

At Bridge Point, Stephen has worked on a number of large complex projects including the implementation of both wired and wireless 802.1x, Cisco wireless deployments (WCS, WLC and Clean Air access points), network cutovers, greenfield installations, disaster recovery networks and firewall installations.

Stephen worked as a network engineer for the Environmental Protection Agency before commencing at Bridge Point. Soon after starting at Bridge Point in 2008, Steve was assigned to the Suncorp Network Services team on a 12 month contract.
