Matt Gurr

Matthew joined the Security Team at Bridge Point in June 2009 as an Information Security Engineer. Since 2009, Matthew has worked with a number of organisations in a consulting capacity providing Governance, Risk and Compliance advice and in 2010 attained the PCI-DSS QSA accreditation. Matthew brings over 13 years of IT, Security and Global Enterprise experience from working in the Financial Services Industry in London, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
Matthew is currently undertaking further study to enhance his knowledge and hopes to achieve a Master of Information Technology degree from the QLD University of Technology (QUT) in 2012. As part of his studies Matthew has a focus on web services and business process management as they relate to security.
As a PCI QSA Matthew interfaces with the business and technology departments in an organisation, helping them reshape their business processes and develop IT strategies that enable organisations to achieve PCI DSS compliance in an efficient, cost effective and sustainable manner.
