He has over 12 years’ experience in the Information Technology Industry, having worked for many large private, public and government departments in Australia and in the UK. His area of expertise is networking technologies with a strong focus on the data centre

Areas of Expertise

Arron’s current role is as a Network Consultant responsible for the technical design and implementation of network centric projects.
Working with the customer and project team Arron provides the delivery of networking technologies that achieve customer goals within project requirements.
Products Arron specialises in include:

  • Cisco Route / Switch including Load Balancing and Security
  • F5 Load Balancers
  • VMware vSphere 4.x
  • Network Monitoring Servers (Solarwinds, Cisco Works, Nagios)

Experience

Arron’s previous roles have covered a variety of networking technologies. These roles involved:

  • Designing and support of road side traffic infrastructure (embedded systems).
  • Implementation and support of an Interop Cisco and Brocade SAN Fabric. 
  • Review existing network infrastructures (LAN/WAN) and recommending solutions based on network and cost optimisation techniques in line with industry best practices.
  • Implementation of converged IP (data/voice/video) network and Unified Communications solutions.
  • Project member of national carrier MPLS Network rollout
  • Network operations center (NOC) customer phone support with fault diagnosis and resolution.
