Server Central History 

In June 2011, Bridge Point and Server Central announced their plans to merge. 

Server Central has a long history of providing local businesses with IT solutions.   Founded in 2003 by David James (fondly known as Jim) Ertel, Server Central quickly grew and became recognised as one of Australia's leading IT solutions companies.   With the added expertise of Andrew George and Geoff Hughes, Server Central increased the breadth of solutions and technologies it offered to the marketplace.  This included a variety of specialised products, in particular a range of "green" IT products & services.

Tragically, Jim Ertel passed away suddenly in 2008 and his loss to the company was felt deeply by the community and customers alike. With support from Jim's family and the dedication of our employee's to continue his legacy, Server Central continued to grow and provide industry leading service to their customers.
